thanks bang noise. gonna try 1024 Network and jitnet see which has the best performance @lvickers
orionParticipantthis seems like a viable option http://www.vjkidkadian.com/store/products/syphon2network/
it’s not free but it could be a good solution to your question @mosu.
orionParticipantThanks for the response sir. I will holler at the laserpilot.
As a side note/work around for what I’m trying to do….
Get an Eye-Fi SD card (ProX2) for the t4i (http://support.eye.fi/cards/media/file-upload-types/).
Send video to laptop on a computer-to-computer network into a folder.
Use the midi thief’s watch folder (http://themidithief.com/2012/06/the-watch-folder-loader-module/),
and bam….using the camera at a party without a short ass usb cable.
in theory…orionParticipantEdit: Yes v002 Camera Master was built using 10.7 and the 2.11 ESDK is broken apparently.
So new question, if I swap in the 2.12 ESDK version from EOS Utility, is there a 10.6 v002 Camera Live Master build?
orionParticipantSerato VSL doesn’t support syphon yet, so you’re going to have to use Mix Emergency instead (http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/).
I had to buy ME after i realized Serato VSL doesn’t support VSL, and support in general was lack luster, pain.
So Serato > Mix Emergency > Syphon > Resolume. Here’s a tutorial using Modul8 (http://themidithief.com/2011/06/syphon-input-in-modul8/) the most important part is that you grab the qcRehab files.
Until Serato VSL builds syphon into their software, Mix Emergency is where it’s at.
orionParticipantBang Noise this is good news, i have hope, now to give Alchemy a little push in this direction!
