    Ahhh yes, the problem was indeed “Skip Canvas Rendering” enabled. It is good to know I can send either layer or main output.

    Okay so some progress, in VDMX you can select what layer to send to syphon server. Selecting a video layer, as opposed to main output, seems to work. Max syphon client will pick it up. Why is this?
