v002 Movie PLayer -> jpeg duration

Hi ‘ve been playing this morning with v002 movie plugin. so far so good, works really nice.

my current project reads the contents of a directory with the kineme file tool plugin
then sends it to the movie plugin and then updates the index when it is finished playing the movie
and this will repeat until you exit the qc patch.

but i want to be able to add jpegs into this playlist/directory.

it works but the image is only shown for a few seconds.

any directions or hints are very much appreciated.

I’ve thought of a solution;

use string components with a . as separator that way you know the extension

then use structure index member to set the RATE of v002 movie player to 1 if extension is AVI

and then use another structure index member to set the RATE of v002 movie player to 0.03 if extension is JPG
