I’m trying to get a powerpoint page from one mac to another and then integrate it into Isadora, which recently added Syphon actors. So far, the only way I’ve found to send the PPT display over ethernet was with a program called ‘Teamviewer’, but I have no idea how to access it with Syphon Server and hence to the actor in Isadora. Any ideas-with or without ‘Teamviewer?
You could use Syphoner from Sigma6 to do Syphon enabled program capture perhaps, and then use TCPSyphon from one machine to another if you really needed to do hat.
Vade, thanks so much for the suggestion. Works like a charm. Actually just bypassing Teamviewer and using built-in screen sharing. I’m new to this, but for a school I’m using Isadora for, I need to be able to input kid’s powerpoint presentations, a school standard. And this solves one (of many) puzzles. again thanks.
