    I am trying to capture output from MadMapper at 1920×1080. Syphon Recorder shows and records the output, but the output image is squished into a 4×3 image within the 16×9 movie with black bars on the sides.

    Syphon Recorder > Preferences, choose appropriate dimensions.

    I have set the dims to 1920 x 1080, but still get black bars.

    Set the Syphon output in Mad Mapper preferences to your desired resolution.

    Thats in Prefs -> Misc btw.
