    having issues trying to get syphon working within the v-module patches http://www.fabriziopoce.com/max.html sometimes the syphon output shows only when i edit the patch in m4l cos it’s open in max, but dissappears wehn i close it and go back into live… fabrizio poce who is trying to be very helpful doesn’t have access to a mac to talk me through it…

    Ensure that your Syphon objects share the named OpenGL context that the v-module patches use.

    Ensure that they are banged (rendered) at an appropriate time.

    It looks like you’d want to put the [jit.gl.syphonserver mrender1FXslab @servername v-module] after the red jit.gl.slab above the video plane in this image.

    This is exactly what I did – the updated Mixer with Syphon support that I ported (just as you describe Vade) is in the 0.8 version of V-module. Working great.

    Excellent, glad it is working. Mind posting some info about the setup at all? I’m sure others would love to know about this work.
