    Hi,
I would like to record, whit Syphon Recorder, an uncompressed video, from Jitter, (in raw format) and then import it into adobe premiere and edit it.
But…Premiere can’t open that raw file.
    Why?
What type of uncompressed file is?
    I need a specific codec?

    Thanks,
    Alberto

None (Uncompressed) gives 8-bit RGBA. If it’s available on your system, try Apple FCP Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2 (assuming you don’t need alpha).

Unless you have a fast SSD, recording uncompressed will reduce the framerate you’re able to capture and you may find you have to use a minimally compressed codec anyway – AIC or ProRes would probably be best.

The strange thing is that i can record the video uncompressend and also i can see that video, but adobe premiere seems don’t recognize the file!?
Perhaps Premiere missing codec ??? (i’ll try to recover Apple FCP..)

If i use ProRes or any other codec to record and then compress another time with premire (becouse i need to edit further) the result is very bad.
Yet, the record i get with uncompressed mode is good, even without ssd!

I can’t provide any advice on Premiere, sorry.

Maybe try Animation at Lossless quality..?
