No audio recorded will Motu interface

Hi,

Time ago everything was working fine, but now the SyphonRecorder don’t record the audio, don’t know what happens. Im using a MOTU external sound card and when i hit Record the console says:

somebody understand whats going on?

btw, microphone recording works and soundflower works too…

Curious – unfortunately I don’t have hardware to try to reproduce the problem.

1. Do you mean that it worked with previous versions of Syphon Recorder, or previous OS versions?

2. Does it work if you record Linear PCM instead of AAC (set in the Preferences)?

well im not 100% sure if it was working time ago, but i think so…
sorry, lots of things in my head… 😉 but im almost pretty sure…

yesterday i upgrade my Macbook to Yosemite and also the MOTU driver and i thought and pray to get this working, but no luck… 🙁
before i was in MountainLion and same problem…

BUT theres a bit of light at the end of the tunnel!
i tried what you mention, Linear PCM and Quicktime or VLC don’t play the audio, but then i imported the video clip to FinalCut to check if there is audio track on it and voila! FinalCut plays the audio!! FinalCut don’t plays audio when i record in AAC…

don’t know, seems theres something wrong on my laptop….
do you have any idea?

It may well be a problem with Syphon Recorder and this particular hardware. I’ll take a look when I get a moment, but without hardware to recreate it, it may be difficult to track down the source of the problem. Sorry!

hey… yes, i have the notifications on fire.. 😉

i have a Ultralite mk3 hybrid and MBP Retina mid 2012 with Yosemite
