    Hi there,
Just figured out that we cannot record the sound that just goes through the default audio output of the computer.

    Soundflower, in some case, crackles/drops.
I can of course use my RME audio interface with internal audio routing but I cannot choose specific channels for it (I guess it records Outputs 1 & 2)

    Do I miss something ?
If no, wouldn’t it be nice to basically record… what is sent to the Built-in Output ?
Screenflow does that BUT I prefer Syphon Recorder for recording openGL renders… yes! yes! yes!

Feature request noted, but don’t hold your breath.

If you record Linear PCM (see Syphon Recorder’s Preferences), you should get all the channels from your audio interface.

    Make a ‘hardwire bridge’:

    – Get a cable.
    – Plug the source of the audio [core or card] in the [line in] jack of your computer.
    – Syphon will record the [system audio in] with the qt movie it spits out.
