v002 plugins + vdmx b8 + lion

I folks,

just wanted to know if it is possible to get the plugins to work with vdmx b8 + lion.

I got QC 4.0

I put the Plugin in the Quartz Composer Plugins Folder

But I couldnt find the VDMX folder under applications support, so I created it.
Im strugglin with the new structur of the b8 installment because folders like qcFX are not to be found :/

Could someone please help me?

In VDMX, in the Help menu, choose Open Assets Folder in Finder
Put the qcFX in the qcFX folder in that window

If you’ve installed the plugin correctly, you’ll be all set.

that was it. thanks for the help.
the only thing is that i have to load the fx right through lets say layer 1 fx load asset…if i wanna drop the effect via the media inspector it doesnt let go of the effect if i put it on layer 1 fx.. but like i said the other way worked.

Are you attempting to do this, and it’s not working?

If so, and it’s not working, file a bug report from VDMX’s help menu (it should work).

There’s no qcFX bundled with the Film plugin, so you’ll have to make your own – base it off the ones for the glitch plugins, or see the Vidvox wiki.
