Syphon Simple Client

Hi,

sorry for creating a new topic, but somehow I’m little confused about the structure of the forum – I couldn’t find a suitable topic!

I just have a little question about the Syphon Simple Client:
It displays a framerate of the input. What kind of framrate is this? The framerate of the input or the framerate of the Server to handle the input? From what does the framerate depend?

Hi – it will never be higher than the rate the server is sending, and it may be lower if Simple Client can’t keep up because the machine is under load. It’s a rough average of the last second iirc.
