    Is their a implementation of a Syphon Server that can play DVDs on OSX. It would be great since i can then use these DVDs in Resolume and other VJ application, just mix on top of it.

    Not that I know of, but it sounds like fun. I imagine a module for VLC might be one possible route if you want to get coding…
